How every programme is run
Each Heronwood programme begins the same way: with a brief initial conversation, no cost, no commitment, to understand what the household holds and what they would find most useful. From that we suggest which programme is the right fit — and we do not push anyone toward the more comprehensive options if a simpler one serves the need.
Sessions take place at our Singharat Road office or, for the Records Archive Programme, sometimes at the household where documents are physically kept. We never ask clients to bring documents to us; we work in the environment that makes the most sense.
All our programmes are strictly organisational and educational. We note the information you share, help you structure and label it clearly, and produce printed materials that translate your records into plain language. We do not give legal, financial, or formal advice of any kind.

The session is organisational only, never advisory. Where topics arise that require a professional, we signpost toward official sources. The session ends with a printed inventory you take away with you.

Sessions are educational and supportive only, with no advice on formal arrangements. Printed guides are included and distributed to participants so everyone has the same reference materials to hand.

This is our most comprehensive offering, designed for those wanting their affairs thoroughly organised and easy to follow for anyone who needs to access them.
The programme includes a family briefing document — a plain-language summary of the household's records prepared specifically so that relatives (including those unfamiliar with the household or with Thailand) can understand what exists and where it is kept.

How we keep our work dependable
Personal data handled with care
Information shared in sessions is used only to produce your programme deliverables. We comply with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and do not retain unnecessary copies of your documents.
Clear, maintained boundaries
We never step into legal, financial, or advisory territory. Our scope is described clearly before any programme begins, and we hold to it throughout every session.
Plain-language quality standard
Every printed deliverable is reviewed against a simple test: could someone unfamiliar with the household follow this without needing to ask questions? If not, we revise until the answer is yes.
Referral network maintained
We keep up-to-date referral relationships with solicitors, financial planners, and official bodies in Chiang Mai so that when a client needs professional expertise, we can point them in a useful direction.
Post-programme follow-up
Clients can contact us with questions about their printed materials after the programme ends. We do not charge for brief correspondence about the deliverables we have produced.
Bilingual service delivery
Sessions and printed materials can be conducted and produced in English or Thai, or a combination of both, depending on what works best for the household.
